Concerto per le Relazioni del Lavoro
Yeaah Labor Relations. Can't get past the first page, though. =P
But dad is right in saying that listening to Classical pieces while studying helps. I should have listened to what he said much earlier. Massenet, Rachimanov, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, Chopin and friends- They're keeping me company right now. haha.

hands up!
Let's give it up for Hypnotic Distortion! woo! (just in case you didn't know, it's the official name of this blog =3 ) LOL. I'm still not dead. :]
Why haven't I been updating for months? blame it all to twitter. It's simple, very user friendly, and to top it all off, it doesn't have a lot of frills, compared to other social networks. you just simply tell the world what's up, what's cooking and who's rockin' at the moment, and that's it! Plus, tweets can be done through mobile phones, and all of it are FREE OF CHARGE. :) now ain't that sweet?
But, naw. I don't intend to abandon this blog just yet. I've been running this since '06, and it would be a waste if I just leave it hanging. From time to time, I will be back for updates, and that's what I'm gonna do now. :)
...............
I'm telling you, A LOT has happened since my last post. I don't even know where to start, coz I'm getting everything mixed up. But as for the latest, we're having our sembreak right now, which started exactly a week ago. We're having a late vacation due to the countless number of times our classes got suspended because of typhoons.
Mood wise, I am not happy right now. For one, I am, as usual, unsure of how I did at school for the past 5 months. Second, the moment I've been wanting not to come since forever is drawing close. Real close. Third is because I'm having a hard time with a close friend right now. I won't say anything about the matter, since I promised that it will only be between the two of us. Fourth, my cat-friend who's been with me since 1995 is now resting peacefully in pet-paradise. I'll definitely miss Kitty. :[
but on the lighter side of things, I also have a handful of reasons why I should be happy. Guess what? my dream of having a violin has finally materialized! Kuya bought a Bachendorff violin just recently, and he's currently taking up lessons. Wish I could study alongside with him, but I don't think I have the time, until after graduation, that is. After thesis, after Labor Relations, after every stressor there is, I'm gonna study violin and learn how to drive for good. I am so excited. :)
And yeah, I'm thinking of one more thing, though I am not sure if I should be happy about this or not. It hasn't been long since Kpop entered the music scene of the country. K-pop MVs and albums have been popping out like mad for the past quarter- Rain, Wonder Girls, Super Junior, SHINee, SNSD, and in just a couple of weeks/months, DBSK and SS501 will soon be joining the mainstream. Big Bang has no album releases YET, but, I dunno, my instinct tells me that they're next in line (holy crap nooooo DDDDDD: ). TBH, a huge part of me says that I am not wanting this. I can only recall how C-pop entered the media of the Philippines some 6 years ago, and how ecstatic everybody was about Jerry Yan and friends. For the first few months they were welcomed warmly, and the idea of seeing eastern/oriental faces on prime time was thrilling. But as time went on, they slowly became, what... cheap? Oh you know what I mean... Fake stickers, posters, notebooks having their faces as design, and of course, a whole army of impersonators. I dunno really... What's wrong with this country?
I know that it's still early to say all these, but based from everything that has happened in the past, kpop turning to farce is not far from impossible. I DO NOT want that to happen.
oh, and I heard. SHINee will be visiting the Philippines next month for a cultural event. Oh I can only hope for the best. :|

omo, BB
Tbh, I'm not that satisfied with Big Bang's new Japanese Single, My Heaven. I think I'm agreeing with the others when they say that the Korean relases of BB, in general, are better and more catchy than their Japanese ones as of now. Who knows, maybe they're still in the stage of getting used to the trend, or something. I hope they improve, if they plan to stay.
Well their My Heaven ain't bad. it isn't. But, I didn't feel the sincerity in the song, which is unusual. (Just compare that song with their other Japanese releases, Like Mad About You. there really IS a difference.) You know my motto... If it's a Big Bang song, it does not only move a person to the beat, but also emotion and mood-wise. BUT, in My Heaven's case, well, I did not feel anything. :(
but here's the catch. When I heard Emotion for the first time, I was like "What the F? is this a Poker Face remix or something?" I said to myself a lot of times that Emotion is worse than My heaven, but alas. Before I knew it, I was repeating the song over and over, to the point that I already can sing along to the chorus. lol. Yeah it may sound like Gaga's Poker Face, but dang, I am also a fan of that song, you know. lol.
If I were to rate their new single, I'd give it a 6 out of 10 points. Man, this has to be the last time I rate them with such score. I hope so. But I haven't given up on their Japanese career yet. haha. I'm still hoping that they are going to improve. :)

one track play
Gian, I hope you get to read this someday.
YOU ARE SUCH A GOOD UNFLUENCE! lol. First you introduced me to SHINee, now to Super Junior. who's next? =P
Cause, just like what I last wrote on my twitter, I have played Super Junior Happy's "Good Luck!!" for like 2,365,109,578,742,352 times now, since I first heard it. The vocals and blending are smooth, the chorus is LSS-inducing [in a nice way], the melody is addicting, and it makes you really feel good [mood-wise] afterwards. It's been quite a while since I last heard a song that good. :)
So, can you guess the song I was listening to while I typed this post? lol.

one week externsion
Hey everybody. Me is back. :3
What's my latest scoop? Well, our vacation got extended by one week, so as to prevent the further increase of AH1N1 cases here in the country. Instead of having our first day of classes today, they moved it to June 16, exactly 7 days from now. Well I actually saw this coming. Our university has many foreign students, and not to mention, many are capable of travelling abroad. If there are universities that are prone to having cases of swine flu, UST definitely is one of those.
I know. This event is something that we, students, shouldn't rejoice over. But you can't erase the fact that this, still, is a blessing. :) Now we'd have more time to rest from our OJT, and more time to read our Labor book, do our Journal and scrapbook for Practicum class. wahoho. XD Annd, of course. One week extension means more time for fangirling! haha. Minho baby, you have to tolerate me for 7 more days! hahahahahahaha.

Big Bang love.
Yeah, while i am downloading a SHINee vid, I'm gonna babble some randomness here. :))
Well by now, you already know that I never run out of a fandom. Haha, and one of my traits that I simply can't outgrow is that I always reach the stage where I think of how well I'd do with my idols, given a certain kind of relationship. Like for example, in Big Bang's case, I would ask myself..
out of the five, who is the best to become an older brother? or..
who is the boyfriend material out of the five members?
haha. It's actually fun to think about such random things, and I love it most when I am bored :P but of course, I already have answers to such questions! lol. it's big bang, I just could not ignore the urge. :))
Let's start of with the maknae, seung ri.
- If I were to have a relationship of any kind with maknae, I think I'd want to have him as my twin brother. haha. weird, huh? But don't ask me why. I just thought that it would be a lot of fun to have him as a brother, a twin to be exact. :)) I mean he's got a really good energy level, and he's a fun person, too. Spending quality time with him wouldn't be so hard, imo. :P
Second, I'm gonna talk about the trot master, Dae sung.- I really had a hard time thinking about the kind of relationship that will be perfect for the two of us. haha. I was torn between having him as my best friend or a boyfriend. I weighed the options, thought about which of those two kinds of relationship suits his attitude better, and finally came with the decision that Daedae is better to become my best friend forever. As how we know Dae, he is the smile buddy of the group, the one who loves to laugh and have fun. Just Imagine yourself playing PSP, oh it would be more fun to have Dae around, right? That's why... if I were to have a relationship with him, I want daesung to be my bff. :)
-ok next up is Taeyang. :)
I had no doubts as to what kind of relationship I want to have with this guy. haha. He's the easiest. XD If I were to choose, I'd definitely want Young Bae to be my boyfriend. XD The traits I consider as "boyfriend material", YB has it! Caring, gentle, smart, mysterious, and of course, just who wouldn't want a bf that's so multitalented, handsome and can dance and sing? Would you not want to have such bf? haha. I'm positive that if I know taeyang in real life, he's the one to knock me off my feet and make my knees weak. :D haha just thinking about it, I think I can die happy. :))
-now it's Tabi's turn!TOP. Hot, has lovely features, veeery manly. I want TOP to be my older brother. :)) haha. I think it would be fun to have my hand on his arm while walking in the streets or at some mall, and have all the girls scream with envious hearts. haha! i think it's also nice to have him know my secrets and give me a piece of advice or two. Oh, and since TOP's also the oldest member of BB, I think he knows how to take care of his dongsaengs. Don't you think so? ;)
-last but definitely not the least, Ji Yong oppa.oh, the leader! He's the one I'd like to have as my good-time buddy. What I mean by that is, I want Ji Yong to be the friend to accompany me while I go shopping (also for the reason that his fashion sense is so cool), while having fun in the arcade, while eating ice cream on a sidewalk, things like that. haha. I dunno, he's just always so energetic! And that's the reason why I'd rather have him as a friend who I go out with, everytime i want to unwind. :)
--
Well there you have it. Random much, isn't it? :P but I really had fun. YOu should try it sometimes, too. :)

dilly dally shilly shally
From semi-long hair to medium, then from medium to short. haha. I'm mad. :))
my hair length right now is as short as Grethcen Baretto's, if you have watched her guesting at Pinoy Bingo Night last week. Or I dunno, I'm not too sure when that was. LoL, and I'm actually loving my hair so much right now. My head feels a lot lighter. haha.
Anyway, I'm already making the most out of my remaining vacation days, cuz I know that when classes roll in,vacation would be nothing but just a dream. So yeah, Since I myself got immersed into the BoF wave in the country right now, I watch around three to four episodes of it everyday at online streaming sites. =3 Yeah, yeah. I'm one of those girls screaming over Lee Min Ho right now. But just who wouldn't get mesmerized by a man who has a killer smile? lol. My difference from the other fangirls though is that I knew of Lee Min Ho even before the first episode of BoF was shown in the country, in the same sense that I have been listening to SS501 even before the Korean F4 got popular among the Filipino people. (SS501 is the name of Kim Hyun Joong/ Yoon Ji Hoo's boy band). =3

BB on abs-cbn!
I'm so, soo happy that Big Bang and 2NE1 got featured on a local channel, even if it was just for a couple of minutes. :D I mean, come ooon. Millions of filipinos watch tv every night, (and not to mention, it was during prime time when they were aired), so it's a really good exposure to both groups, and for kmusic here in the philippines in general :] woohoo!! I really can't believe that I already saw Big Bang on channel 8. hahaha. Dara's not new to my eyes, since she first got popular here in the country, but big bang? OH MY. :DDDD
currently listening to: F.T. islandfeeling: amazed. :D
